Ongoing support for businesses trading internationally
The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of commerce have a host of services available to support you in continuing to get your goods from A to B during the pandemic.
Electronic AT.Rs now accepted for those exporting to Turkey
The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) in conjunction with HMRC have negotiated with the Turkish customs authorities for electronic AT.Rs to be accepted with immediate effect.
The Turkish authorities have agreed that the electronic documents will be accepted as long as they can be verified by the Turkish authorities.
Clarity sought for businesses who can return to work
After the Prime Minister’s speech last night on 10 May, we are still seeking clarity from government, around the details of the return to work plan, and what that means for the safety of employers and employees. Businesses and employees must have enough time and plans in place in order to return to work in a safe and controlled manner.
The government are due to discuss this is parliament today and we expect to see further details be released over the next few days.
