The weather outside may be frightful but there are lots of festive delights at Artrix throughout December.

Beginning with the family performance of Santa In Love on Saturday 2nd December where families are invited to meet Santa after the show and get a present. The family fun continues as children aged 5-10 years old will be partying on Sunday 3rd December during the Artrix Christmas Bubble Disco. 

Nothing says Christmas quite like The Nutcracker and cinema goers can come to Artrix to enjoy a screening of The Royal Ballet Live performance on Tuesday 5th and Tuesday 19th December.

Cara Dillon returns to Artrix with Upon A Winter’s Night, an evening of magical and memorable Christmas songs on Thursday 7th December.

Christmas is a time for feasts and festivities; holly and mistletoe; a time of visits and visitations... a time of ghosts!  Audiences are invited to come in from the cold and enter into the Christmas spirit with Christmas Gothic, haunting tales of the festive season on Monday 11th December. Dyad Productions resurrects a Victorian tradition by presenting three seasonal tales of terror to scintillate the gooseflesh for dark Christmas nights.

Enjoy an evening of laughs,  mince pies and all the trimmings when Artrix favourite and What’s On Magazine’s West Midland’s Comedian of the year Barbara Nice returns with her Christmas Cracker on Tuesday 12th December.

Audiences can swing into Christmas with evening of all of your favourite Christmas songs performed by The Big Band at Christmas on Wednesday 13th December, featuring treatment from Glenn Miller, Sinatra and Nat King Cole, jazzing up those Jingle Bells.

The Christmas traditions continue with All and Sundry presenting the classic rags to riches pantomime Cinderella from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd December. Expect a traditional family Pantomime full of fun, slapstick and a little sprinkling of magic! 

Artrix is pleased to present a Festival of Light parade, in conjunction with Bromsgrove District Council on Sunday 17th December. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the festive spectacle and participate in lantern making workshops prior to the event. Lantern Workshops will be taking place on Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December at Parkside.

There are more festive family shows to enjoy with little ones including Santa’s Christmas Wish on Saturday 24th December (including a visit with Santa) and The Abominable Snowman on 27 December.

Round off 2017 at Artrix with a New Year’s Eve Party with The Beat Brothers from 8pm on 31st December. Birmingham based 4 piece band, The Beat Brothers will get the party started and a DJ will keep the tunes going into the early hours! Tickets for this popular event must be booked in advance.

Along with these featured festive treats for families and party nights out with friends, audiences can enjoy a whole host of other comedians, music, spoken word and cinema screenings throughout December.
