Home / News & Opportunities / Member News

Date: 03/02/2017

Pershore High School student, Adam Palin, aged 18 from Pershore, will be cycling the height of Everest which is 8,848 metres.

The event, which will take around 15 hours to complete, is a sponsored Everesting Cycling Challenge and takes place on Easter Sunday.

Adam is taking part in aid of his voluntary gap year in September when he will be travelling to Thailand to teach English with a charity called Project Trust, who provide gap year placements to 17-19-year-olds to develop education and social care in the developing world.

Adam is currently fundraising for this challenge and is very excited and looking forward to September.
