Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is looking for new recruits to join their two Area Councils in both Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce have two Area Councils, one that represents Herefordshire and one that represents Worcestershire.

They meet six times a year, three meetings per county and three meetings jointly and are comprised of up to fifteen specialists from different sectors from across the geographic location who feedback about their respective professions.

The feedback is then used to formulate Chamber policy on the most important economic issues facing the region's businesses. Any issues that arise in any of the Area Councils, is discussed at a local level and then referred to the Chamber Board for any decision or for further input.

Some key responsibilities include:

- Maintain close contact with members at a local level to help provide guidance to the Board and Chief Executive
- To identify key issues that needs to be taken up by the Chamber
- Represent both your individual business and your business sector
- To actively support Chamber membership recruitment and retention initiatives
- Be an ambassador for the Chamber

We have two vacancies in Herefordshire and three in Worcestershire. We are particularly looking for businesses from the following sectors but would welcome applications from any interested members.
