Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that three members of its team have been recognised in the prestigious British Chambers of Commerce, Chamber Awards 2026, celebrating outstanding talent and dedication within the UK Chamber network.
Katie Hill and Olivia Williams have both been nominated for the Rising Star Award, which celebrates emerging talent making a significant impact through dedication, fresh ideas, and commitment to supporting businesses and communities.
Katie Hill, Finance & HR Executive, joined the Chamber in 2023 and has demonstrated exceptional growth, professionalism, and commitment. From supporting colleague wellbeing initiatives and improving internal processes to contributing to the Chamber’s continued development, Katie’s dedication and willingness to go above and beyond have made her a highly valued member of the team.
Olivia Williams, Head of Events and Training, has also been recognised for her outstanding contribution. Since joining the Chamber in 2011, Olivia has progressed through the organisation and now leads a team delivering hundreds of events and training opportunities each year. Her passion for creating opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate, and grow continues to make a positive impact on members and the wider business community.
Chief Executive Officer Sharon Smith has been nominated for the President’s Award, recognising individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting their Chamber, championing businesses, and contributing to the wider Chamber network. Her nomination reflects her exceptional leadership and commitment to supporting businesses across the two counties.
These nominations highlight the Chamber’s dedication in investing in its people, nurturing talent, and supporting the business community. The Chamber congratulates all finalists, with winners announced at the Chamber Awards Gala Dinner on 14 October 2026.
