Chamber CEO talks with You Do Better PR

You Do Better PR have enjoyed a hugely positive collaboration with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce. Since 2018 the local PR Agency have been Members of the Chamber to make the most of their support of local industry. The Chamber provide Members with advice and guidance as well as services, all with the aim of enabling businesses to grow and prosper. The team at You Do Better have worked with us on a number of projects, including our Introduce Us campaign in October 2019.

Since then, the Agency have seen their articles published in Business Direction Magazine, both for our own business and their clients’ too. Clients such as Hazelton Mountford and Selcraft UK have welcomed their brands noticed front and centre, showcasing their stories in Member News, BD Magazine and via social media streams.

Owner, Ruby Edwards and the team at You Do Better have worked with previous and current Presidents – Mike Forrester and Ben Mannion – on projects like the well-received communications initiative through lockdown ‘Word of the week’ and their latest initiative: ‘3 minutes with’. They continue to collaborate with CEO Sharon Smith on a regular basis with projects such as International Women’s Day and In conversation with – a regular business column online and in print in County Lifestyle & Leisure Magazine.

The Chamber also provide networking opportunities hosting a calendar of events, helping individuals connect and interact with each other to support growth and develop local business. You Do Better have also been involved with virtual events. For example, Ruby was invited to speak at the virtual Women’s Business Forum in February 2021 on the subject of PR and Communications in 2021 as well as hosting a webinar with the Chamber team in July 2020 to help members boost their brand online.

Please look out for Ruby’s latest article on budgeting for 2021 in the upcoming March/April issue of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Business Direction Magazine.

Ruby says:

“Chamber Membership has delivered a wealth of support to our growing business: we’ve certainly maximised our membership and our clients’ too. We’ve harnessed the Membership by proactively writing tailored pieces, consistently sharing news and staying in touch with our points of contact. In addition, we’ve also encouraged a number of clients to join up. Not only do they gain Membership to an accredited and recognised professional body they also stand to gain a wealth of experience as well as opportunities to learn, network and grow their business. It’s a no-brainer for businesses locally.”

“Ruby continues to contribute a fantastic level of support to the local business community, despite the challenges of 2020. Ruby took the initiative to continue promoting businesses, success stories and local people during the pandemic, helping to promote a positive mindset in one of the most difficult times. Ruby always thinks of new and exciting interviews and I look forward to reading her updates on local people achieving great things. Obviously Ruby’s services are so much more than writing articles and I encourage any businesses to continue to use all PR and Marketing support services to continue to promote their businesses during 2021.”
