Stevie Stones

Materials

On 1st November we’re holding our Annual Toy Drop and we need your help! Can you help us to collect brand-new toys that can be re-gifted and hidden in local parks and play areas for children to find?

Here’s why…

In 2021, Stevie didn’t quite make it to her fourth birthday…

Left with a heavy heart and a collection of gifts stored away ready for the big day, Stevie’s parents, Barri and Naomi, decided to spread some joy and leave the toys in local parks and play areas for other children to find and enjoy. This proved to be quite a healing exercise for the parents, and they quickly decided that this should be an annual event, to commemorate Stevie’s birthday.

Now, every year on the 1st November, the Stevie Stones team take to the streets for the annual Toy Drop, bringing light and kindness to other children (something that Stevie was renowned for amongst her own friends and family).

The Toy Drop has become more and more important to us as a charity over time – it’s been a great way to raise awareness of the work we’re doing and it’s quickly grown from a local event in the Worcestershire area, to a nationwide event (thanks to the help of our wonderful ambassadors!).
