Local Funeral firm Jackson Family Funeral Directors have been crowned The Lloyds Bank Local Business of the Year – West Midlands – at the British Excellence Awards.
A sense of pure delight and celebration filled the room at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards as the winners of each of the prestigious 17 categories were announced, from the ORESA Leader of the Year Award to the Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year Award.
The calibre of finalists in each category was very high, with Britain’s business elite filling every seat in the room. The evening was intertwined with entertainment and speeches from Sarah Austin, Director of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, and Paul Gordon, Lloyds Banking Group Managing Director for SME & MID Corporates, giving inspirational talks to all finalists and winners. Sir Trevor McDonald OBE was a fantastic compere for the evening, bringing insight and unparalleled wisdom to the proceedings.

Matthew Jackson started Jackson Family Funeral Directors Ltd in March 2018. His mission is to provide a more transparent and affordable funeral service to the local community that focuses on delivering personal and emotional support to families in their time of need. Before 2020, Jackson Family Funeral Directors offered clients a welfare service that saw their funeral directors provide clients with emotional support during their bereavement.
