Virtual Food and Drink Forum to support businesses

Coronavirus restrictions have been felt across all businesses. One of the more impacted industries is the food and drinks sector, with limits on table covers and also restrictions on opening times.

The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce are hosting a virtual Food and Drink Forum in association with mfg Solicitors. The Forum will be a strategic group to promote the interests of food and drink producers from within our two counties. It champions and lobbies for specific strategies and policies that benefit the group members – from incubation to maturity, with a specific focus on skills, innovation and growth.

The Food and Drink Forum aims to promote the regions food and drink produce and gives local businesses a platform to voice their opinions so that the Chamber can champion and lobby for policies that benefit the sector. The Forum will focus on skills, innovation and growth.

We are delighted to be joined by our guest speaker Anthony Snell, Business partner, Farmer & Grower at A.J & C.I Snell, one of the UK’s leading fresh and frozen fruit growers, with a state of the art 2000-tonne capacity Packhouse situated at Windmill Hill, Herefordshire.

Anthony will give an update on the Business and will discuss the British Soft fruit Fresh and Frozen sector and the challenges and rewards they have experienced in 2020.

Sponsors, mfg Solicitors will also be on hand to provide expert advice and knowledge on industry specific legislation updates which will be extremely valuable to attendees.
