It’s been years in the planning but on 15th July Simon Lancaster launched The SJL Foundation. Lancaster, the CEO and 100% owner of one of the UK’s largest owner-owned insurance brokers registered with Lloyds of London, will utilise SJL’s vast network of staff, insurer partners, suppliers and customers; to raise over £100,000 in the first year. After much deliberation, the foundation has decided to allocate 45% of funds raised over the next 2 years to Acorns Children’s Hospice. SJL insurance staff will be released from work to volunteer at the hospice.
The SJL Foundation’s first ever fundraising ball is being held at The Bank House in Worcester on Saturday, 9th November 2019. Tickets are on sale now at £650 for a table of 10 or £65 for individual tickets and available by calling 01905 27775 and asking for Lucy Ruff.
