Sutcliffe & Co Insurance Brokers have announced they are a finalist in the 2022 Cyber Outstanding Security Performance Awards (Cyber OSPAs) in the category Outstanding Cyber Security Partnership alongside their partners The IASME Consortium.
The Cyber OSPAs recognise and reward companies, teams, individuals, products and initiatives across the cyber security sector globally. The Cyber OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.
Sutcliffe & Co and The IASME Consortium have partnered since 2014 to provide automatic cyber insurance to organisations that achieve the Government’s Cyber Essentials Certification. In this period over 100,000 certificates have been issued, significantly improving the cyber hygiene of these organisations and their supply chains as well as furthering the ambition of making the UK a safer place to do business. Together Sutcliffe & Co and IASME strive to increase cyber security for businesses, in a proactive partnership.
Duncan Sutcliffe, Managing Director says, “We have worked with The IASME Consortium for many years and share the same ethos for helping mitigate cyber risks and raise awareness of cyber-crime. Becoming a finalist in the Cyber OSPA’s is an honour and we are looking forward to the awards night on 15th December at the Novotel London West.”
Dr Emma Philpott MBE, CEO of IASME Consortium says, “Our partnership with Sutcliffe & Co allows us to ensure that small and micro organisations have support and help if the worst should happen and they experience a cyber security incident. We love working with Sutcliffe & Co who share our values”
Sutcliffe & Co have already won this year a Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Award in the category ‘Excellence in Professional Services’, and a ‘5-Star Brokerage Award’ and are committed to providing a ‘personal service in a commercial world’. Their successes of 2022 are set to continue into 2023 as their team expands and new services are added to their portfolio.
