Spring Forward Landscaping ‘spring’ into action to support local charity

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust have launched a new initiative to showcase all of their corporate supporters, giving them the opportunity to shine and shout about how they are giving back to their local community and supporting the charity.

Our monthly Spotlight on Support initiative will each time feature a different local business that has supported the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. This support may have been from a financial donation, holding a fundraising event, taking part in a challenge or from pro bono work.

For February we are delighted to announce that our ‘Spotlight on Support’ company is Spring Forward Landscaping.

Not only are Spring Forward Landscaping based in Worcester they are also a Ltd company as they feel that it gives their clients the added reassurance that they are here to stay and grow whilst transforming gardens across Worcestershire and the surrounding areas.

As a family business, they believe in supporting the community in any way that they can, whether its participating in fundraising events or making a financial donation.

Adam Bate, from Spring Forward Landscaping comments: “We have 4 children and one of which is the same age as Grace when she sadly passed. As parents we simply can’t imagine how her parents felt. As a family and a business, we wanted to help oncology families to remember their children and when the charity asked for our support we were delighted to be asked. We sponsored the wooden star decorations which were part of the Stars of Light campaign last year.

We hope to get involved in several fundraising events throughout the year and help raise awareness and the much needed funds that the GKCCT need. Lorna is hoping to take part in the Worcester 5K later in the year in aid of GKCCT.”

Michelle Nolan, Charity Engagement Co-ordinator at the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust comments: “Adam and Lorna from Spring Forward Landscaping have been great to have on board as supporters. As a family themselves they really do understand what is at the heart of our charity and we really do thank them for their recent support. We look forward to working alongside them in 2021”.
