This month, Southco Manufacturing is celebrating an important milestone in its history. 25 years ago, the then newly built facility, based in Warndon Business Park, shipped its first part.
To mark this special anniversary the Southco employee family celebrated this occasion with a commemorative lunch and looked back on their outstanding achievements and business growth over the last 25 years.
The Worcester facility has been a fundamental part of Southco’s sustained global growth and geographic expansion. After starting production with 80 employees in 1994, today the facility is home to 200 employees and manufactures over 40 million parts every year.
Phillip Kempson, Managing Director, said: “Over the last 25 years we have relied on the skills, dedication and hard work of the Southco team here in the UK.
“It has been a fantastic journey so far and we look forward to an equally prosperous future. I congratulate the Worcester facility team on reaching this significant milestone and more importantly, I want to thank them for their outstanding contributions to our business and our customers.”
