Sale and leaseback helps Worcestershire charity raise capital

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has completed the sale and partial leaseback of a Worcester office building.

Acting on behalf of Crossroads Caring for Carers, Kyle Pugh Graduate Surveyor at GJS Dillon, sold the freehold of the offices in Weir Lane in Worcester to Care2Recruit.  The transaction enabled the vendor to sell their building and enter into a lease of part of the premises.

Crossroads, a Charity offering practical support for family-based carers and people with care needs, will remain in occupation alongside the purchaser. Care2Recruit specialises in temporary and permanent Health and Social Care Recruitment. The arrangement has benefits for both parties since they are in complementary sectors.

The premises consist of a 5,578sq ft single storey unit with self-contained offices, workshop and training space.
