#CRMmeansEverything

Regardless of the business sector, companies operating in market conditions are consistently having to make decisions.
‘CRM Means Everything’ an accurate statement, as whatever the nature of operational decisions, a CRM system can supply the information required to run a successful business.

As we investigate Customer Relationship Management further, we should ask ourselves, ‘How well do I know my customers?’ Why? The information transferred from the market or to the market, increases knowledge based on realities, allowing organisations to make better decisions.

By understanding our customers’ needs using their existing data in CRM, we can formulate a stronger marketing strategy. Does the purchase itself provide sufficient information to marketing teams in determining the level of satisfaction or having met the customer’s expectations?

The CRM system helps to characterise consumer information based on the sources from which it is obtained and then classifies this information from the organisation’s strategic and internal markets’ point of view.

Take, for example, a wholesale organisation that trades auto repair parts. The wholesaler owns an online store that distributes their products to both consumers and the b2b market. How are they able to manage their customer information?

It is essential to obtain information such as customer contact details, technical order data, quantitative order data, customer type (B2C or B2B), and purchase frequency.

Based on this information, the organisation can support its statistics by answering questions such as:

  • ‘What percentage of B2C customers buy a given part for car repair?’;
  • ‘How many points on a scale of 1-10 do customers rate customer service or quality of the part?’;
  • ‘What is the percentage of returning customers? ‘;
  • ‘How many customers came to my advertising page?’;
  • ‘How many customers opened my email, clicked on my link to the website or unfollowed my newsletter?’.

This information is collected and analysed by the CRM system, allowing your sales and marketing teams to better assess their next steps with different customers individually.

After all, it is no secret that success depends on customer satisfaction, along with delivering the right product at the right price, the right place, and the right time!
