Print And Signage Specialists Appoint New Staff As Growth Continues

An expanding Worcestershire business has taken on three members of staff following a year of strong growth.

Malvern-based print and signage specialists PB Signs have appointed a production manager and two designers to help meet a continued upsurge in demand.

Production manager Ryan Gibbons has more than 20 years’ experience in the print and signage industry, and has worked on high profile projects such as the London Olympics. Designers Josh Neal and Liz Handley also bring a wealth of expertise, and have worked with Help For Heroes and Deliveroo amongst others.

The new additions bring the total number of employees at PB Signs to nine – and with further growth planned, they are currently on the lookout for new premises. The past 12 months has seen the company invest in new tools and equipment to meet increased demand from customers.

Before the pandemic, their work primarily involved designing, manufacturing and installing signage for companies across a wide range of sectors. They then diversified into manufacturing bespoke screens and signage for buildings across the county to make them Covid-safe.

Carl Murphy, managing director of PB Signs, said:

“The work around Covid quickly propelled us into building our manufacturing capability, and we are now able to offer many more products and services as a result of our new manufacturing capacity. Doing all that in-house keeps costs down and turnaround times fast for our clients. Demand is likely to remain high as the events sector continues to open up, and recruiting specialist staff is a logical progression as our workstream grows and we continue to explore new markets.”

As well as the additions to their team, the company has launched a new website and increased its social media presence.

PB Signs counts many brands renowned for their quality amongst their clients, including Morgan Motor Cars, The National Trust, Jaguar Land Rover, The Pride of Britain Awards, DuPont and Fossil Watches.
