Children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster had a swashbuckling time dressing up and enjoying their very own version of the ‘Black Pearl’ pirate ship as part of their themed play day.
Nursery manager and shipmate, Gaynor Carter, explained: “Playing pirates and digging for treasure, there’s no boundary to a child’s imagination, with role play a fantastic way for them to express themselves and to simply have fun.”
Dressed as pirates they made swords, necklaces and decorated pirate biscuits before playing pirates in their very own pirate ship.
“They loved dressing up and creating their very own pirate characters and they all looked amazing. From our youngest at 2 years through to our older children of 4 years, this type of activity is perfect as they can all take part.”
Lots of fun and great excitement as they then climbed aboard the ‘Black Pearl’ to enjoy some pirate snacks.
