Nursery Sponsored Swim Raises Cash for KEMP

Forty-nine children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster made a splash as they took to the water for a sponsored swim in aid of KEMP for Kids and have so far raised £619.

Watched by parents, carers and family members the children all swam continually for a set time of fifteen-minutes, pushing balls across the pool whilst the younger children, some as young as two, held their ball as they swam widths of the swimming pool.

Nursery Manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “Swimming is a much-loved activity in our nursery-week, so we thought it would be an ideal way for the children to raise money for KEMP for Kids, which is our nominated charity of the year, and at the same time show their families just how confident they now are in the water.”
