Nursery Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Day

Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster celebrated this year’s Random Acts of Kindness Day by visiting residents of Rockny House care home.

Manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “Little Trinity hasn’t taken part in the Random Acts of Kindness day, but we thought it was a marvellous way for the children to take part in a creative activity and at the same time learn about the importance of caring and thinking of others.”

Over a week the children decorated cakes and made biscuits and collected donations for their local foodbank and made individual pictures and cards ready for their short trip to the Birmingham Road nursing home.

“Creative activities are positive encouragement for a child’s development such as personal and social skills, and this week’s activities were perfect and totally accessible to all our children, even our youngest who are only 2-years of age.”
