New sponsor announced for the Herefordshire Summer School Games

With the six values of Respect, Honesty, Teamwork, Determination, Passion and Self-belief at their core, the School Games provides a unique opportunity to motivate and inspire young people aged 7-13 across Herefordshire to take part in more competitive school sport and get physically active.

Each year since 2010, a mass of coloured t-shirts disperses across Hereford Leisure Centre, where over 1500 children and young people take part in a mini-Olympics style showpiece. Providing a range of diverse opportunities for young Herefordians, the event is supported by a team of Young Leaders, organising activities and recording the highlights of the day.

Stephen Brewster, Chief Executive Officer at the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire said, “The Herefordshire School Games is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful experiences for young people participating in school sport. We have every confidence that the School Games will support our young people to embark upon a lifelong journey of being physically active.”

“We are absolutely thrilled and very grateful for Hoople’s support and sponsorship of the Herefordshire Summer School Games, which continue to go from strength to strength.”

Since 2011, Hoople’s service portfolio has grown, providing a range of services to public and private sector customers. Their portfolio ranges from recruitment and temporary staffing, training, apprenticeships, payroll services through to finance, HR and IT.

Nick Mather, Chief Operating Officer at Hoople, said “The six values of the School Games motivate Hoople to keep driving forward. We strive for effective continuous improvement and the commitment and ambition from our team makes this possible. For us to be invited to sponsor an event that is so inspiring, that showcases the importance of participation to young people across Herefordshire is something we are incredibly proud of.”

“Hoople understands the significance and the positive impact participation can have on an individual and a group. We are certain that this will be an inspirational event for all the participants and leaders.”
