National Business Boostcamps series comes to help Worcestershire businesses

The Worcestershire Growth Hub has partnered with Lloyds Bank Academy to bring their Small Business Boostcamp series to Worcestershire.

The Small Business Boostcamp series consists of five FREE, face to face workshops which can help smaller businesses to increase their digital business skills and become more comfortable with technology.

Through the five workshops, businesses will learn how they can access the latest technology trends, understand how to improve online visibility, and deepen customer relationships. The result of attending the series is that businesses will be in a better position to digitally market, sell and engage with their customers, resulting in greater sales and growth potential.

Any Worcestershire business can apply to join the Boostcamps programme, although smaller businesses may find more value in the workshops.

The Business Boostcamps series has been brought to Worcestershire via a partnership between Worcestershire Growth Hub, Worcestershire County Council, Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Lloyds Bank Academy, alongside the delivery partners which includes TCS and ActionCOACH.

Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “In the current economic climate, businesses are looking for as much support as they can get, and I am pleased that we have been able to work with Lloyds Bank Academy to bring the Boostcamps series to the county.

“This adds to the existing portfolio of business support available in Worcestershire and I would strongly urge local businesses to contact our Growth Hub team to find out more about what support they can access.”

Jemma Waters, Head of Digital Impact and Inclusion at Lloyds Banking Group said: “Lloyds Bank Academy are pleased to offer free face-to-face digital skills and productivity support to small businesses to help support their goals and aspirations. The Bootscamp builds on our current e-learning offering which has a wealth of learning resources from experts across Lloyds Bank and partners such as Small Business Britain. This, alongside local support from the Worcester Growth Hub will make a real difference to small businesses across Worcestershire, giving them the skills to succeed.”
