A Midlands training provider is inviting people in the West Midlands to learn new tech and digital skills during their Covid-19 isolation period and beyond.
Through The Development Manager (TDM), learners can undertake any of six fully-funded courses, covering Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, Software Development, Database Management, Building IT Networks or Cyber Security, which include globally recognised certifications from the likes of Google, Microsoft and CompTIA.
Anyone undertaking one of the courses will also receive the support of a Professional Development Coach, tasked with helping them to find a new job or take on more responsibility at work, and an expert Skills and Knowledge Coach who will guide each learner through the course content.
All coaching sessions are delivered virtually, with the emphasis of the course being on flexible remote learning and self-study.
The “Get Ahead in Digital Transformation” scheme is being completely funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority, which means the qualifications don’t cost the learner anything to do.

“At no cost to them, residents across the region can pick-up new skills such as data analysis, cyber security, and digital marketing. Given the digital age we are in, skills like these could be vital for the jobs of the future.
