Matthew Jackson, Managing Director at Jackson Family Funeral Directors, has been elected as a Worcestershire Ambassador as a result of his dedication and commitment to the County, through his community work and business achievements.
The Worcestershire Ambassadors is a unique organisation focused on promoting the County as a great place to live, work, invest and do business. Matthew Jackson is passionate about Worcestershire and supporting the local community at all levels. As a family owned and run business with four branches across Worcestershire; Pershore, Malvern, Worcester and Upton-upon-Severn, Jackson Family Funeral Director’s reach across the county is extensive. Matthew pledges to the families he supports is to deliver honest and comprehensive funeral services which are always carried out with integrity and devotion, caring for the community at a very challenging time.
Matthew, who is delighted to become a member explains, “I am honoured to be elected as a Worcestershire Ambassador and help promote and support everything that the community has to offer. Helping to create new opportunities within the area and support investment is a key task I will relish. Plus, as an active member I would also like to continue with supporting local charities that aid so many good causes in the region.”
He adds, “We are proud to be multi-award-winning funeral directors, and this could not have been possible without the support of local businesses. We actively look to work with businesses in Worcestershire as I believe that the strength of the county comes from within, working in synergy. I look forward to being an active member of the Worcestershire Ambassadors.”
The Worcestershire Ambassadors works in partnership with, and in support of, established leading county organisations such as the County/District/City Councils, the Chamber of Commerce, the Local Enterprise Partnership, University and more recently the One Worcestershire campaign. They work tirelessly to fundraise for local charities and good causes, which is perfectly aligned with the culture at Jackson Family Funeral Directors.
Matthew has supported many charities since he founded Jackson Family Funeral Directors in March 2018, with a particular focus on St Richard’s Hospice, West Mercia Women’s Aid and the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. By organising fundraising activities and sponsoring charity events, his aim has always been to give back to the community and connect with families on an emotional level. Jackson Family Funeral Directors have never charged for children’s funerals as part of their mission statement, plus they have worked tirelessly to support the families of victims of COVID-19 with funeral services.
