Louise Roberts, owner of Alimenti Food Sciences, has written a chapter on rapid hygiene monitoring for an industry handbook published by 3M, in the USA. The handbook has been published in conjunction with Cornell University and covers Environmental Monitoring in Food production. Louise is the only industry expert from the UK to be asked to contribute to this handbook. Other authors are from around the world and include both academics and experts from 3M. Louise said “this was a great opportunity to share my knowledge of rapid hygiene monitoring with a wider audience. It is a technology that I have worked with for over 20 years and it has gone from being lab based to an easy to use, portable technology”.
