A pair of Worcester businesses have teamed up to provide Christmas trees for local organisations and raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
PRICE Training CEO, John Brierley, has committed to offering Christmas trees to companies in exchange for a donation to Acorns, in order to support them in providing critical care and support for babies, children and young people suffering with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Leading Worcester recruitment firm, Baxter Williams, will also be donating for every tree collected, and will be arranging the delivery of trees, at a cost, to each organisation that supports this fantastic cause.
Nick Baxter, MD of Baxter Williams, said: ‘We’re delighted to again support Acorns Children’s Hospice to spread some festive cheer and raise money for such an amazing charity. We’ve been involved in numerous initiatives with them before and we love fundraising for a charity that does so much to support local children and their families.’
John Brierley, CEO of PRICE Training, said: ‘Amid all the festivities it’s important to be mindful of those less fortunate or going through hard times over the festive period. I’m so grateful to those companies who have supported this cause already and I’m hopeful many more can join us to grow the magic this Christmas.’
