Legging it for Longtown

Like so many charities Longtown Outdoor Learning Trust are under threat since our main income stream (from school residential visits) has collapsed as a result of the Coronavirus restrictions. Our school residential operation which represents 70% of our annual income has been closed since March. At the moment it looks like the earliest we may be allowed to welcome school residential visitors back is March 2021. As a result we have had to make significant cost savings (including redundancies) and to deplete our reserves just to try and stay afloat.

Alistair Morriss is a volunteer instructor with our After school adventure clubs and he has decided to raise money for Longtown Outdoor Learning Trust to ensure that the centre can continue offering accessible and affordable adventures for all. Alistair (accompanied by Mike Fawcett, Director of LOLT for safety and support) will be running 50 km across the Black Mountains in one long day at the end of November. Please help Alistair Morriss to reach his target of raising £1750 for Longtown Outdoor Learning Trust by sponsoring him:
