Maria Williams is a Russian native speaker , Russian translator,interpreter, tutor and examiner, UK citizen since 2007.

In 1993 Maria went to the USA a part of exchange with Voorheesville High School in Voorheesville, NY. and soon she got 98 in Art and 97 in English and was in Honour Roll of the school.

After graduating school with an advanced course of English Maria entered St Petersburg State University, Faculty of Philology and graduated in 2001 with top marks and MA. Straight away started to give English lessons to students and do translation. Translated fiction, computer games, books on psychiatry and biology and worked for the magazine “Business International” translating articles on culture Worked with children form the diplomatic missions from Canada, USA and UK in St Petersburg tutoring at their homes.

In 2000 Maria went to Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh as an exchange student to do Conference Interpreting.

In 2004 Maria moved to the UK and established her self-employment business and since then she joined NRPSI in 2007 and CIOL in 2010 and has been doing public service interpreting and translation as well as tutoring Russian and examining Russian GCSE and A level.
