June Round-Up

It’s a busy time for many right now, with the holiday season coming up, so it’s been great to meet so many Chamber Members over the last month or so.

In brief, I enjoyed a video call with Donna Fisher at Smile Box to understand more about the fast-growing mental health awareness and staff reward treat boxes, which aim to let staff know they’re being thought of and supporting the improvement of their mental wellbeing.

I also met with Niki and Louise at Truly Sprinkles in Brimfield. Hopefully they’ll soon been able to find a solution with their existing landlord to significantly increase the footprint of their current site and avoid any disruption and cost of moving the business to a new site and giving the business room to grow.

After many failed dates, I managed to meet Peter Appleton at ISO QSL in Worcester and hear how the business is supporting companies who have, or wish to install, accredited quality programmes in Management, Environmental, Cyber and Health and Safety.

I was also able to visit Judith Ford the CEO of Night Stop in Kidderminster and found the meeting and walk around very interesting. I’m passionate about supporting positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and would welcome a chat from Chamber Members who would like to discuss this further.
