Jerroms Corporate Finance has advised Nationwide Property Assistance Ltd (NPA) a leading UK home emergency specialist, on its sale to Davies, a specialist professional services and technology business.
Birmingham based NPA, provides claims management and command centre solutions to housebuilders, housing associations and insurance companies and will form part of Davies’ existing Claims Solutions business in the UK, adding 24/7 home emergency assistance service to its existing range of end-to-end claims solutions. NPA CEO Nick Haycock will continue to lead the business and will report to Davies’ Managing Director, Russell Crewe. All 190 NPA staff will continue in their roles as Davies employees.
Jerroms Corporate Finance took the lead role in the negotiations, project management of the sale mandate process, due diligence, corporate and personal tax planning and working with the NPA management team and stakeholders to secure a painless and smooth transition.
As the transaction took place at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Jerroms advisors continued to provide support during the acquisition in line with government safety advice by using the latest technology to make certain that client service went unaffected.
Nick Haycock, MD, NPA: “I would like to thank Paul Heaven and his team at Jerroms for both the marketing of npa24:7 and helping with the closure of the deal.
They were an integral part of us acquiring the business both in the negotiations with the plc and obtaining finance in 2014. They have been there to help, guide us and grow the business over the years which culminated in the successful completion of the deal on 2nd March.
A real partner from the beginning!”
Paul Heaven, MD, Jerroms Corporate Finance said: “We are delighted to have acted for NPA on their sale to Davies. NPA has a solid proven track record in providing outstanding service to its customers and we are proud to have supported them through a key time in their history. It has been a privilege to advise and provide support on their journey and I wish them all the very best for the future.”
