Born 3rd June 1968 in a little Welsh village called USK.
I then went to Oakdale Comprehensive school and whilst attending school I also joined the Air Training Corp cadets. Whilst still at the cadets I finished school and went to college in Crosskeys and gained my City & Guilds in catering.
On the 29th April 1986 I joined the Royal Air Force as a chef travelling extensively and to some places that people will not be lucky enough to go.
After leaving the Military I have worked at various catering establishments honing my trade as a chef. I also had positions as bar and restaurant manager and fulfilled the role of Manager at the St Andrews Hotel in Droitwich.
More recently, I worked as a chef at Worcester University. I then joined a contract company in Gloucestershire looking over 200 primary schools. I was involved with the training of kitchen staff, catering for hospitality and carrying out classes with the children. I did that for nearly 15 years before coming back to Malvern. I am now enjoying life at the Mount Pleasant Hotel. My goal is to take this wonderful place to the next level.
