IASME’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Emma Philpott, has been recognised for her contribution to cyber security with a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Emma is widely known as CEO of IASME, a brand that has grown significantly under her stewardship. An advocate of accessible and affordable cyber security for all, Emma’s leadership has helped enhance the security of thousands of organisations including those micro and small businesses who can find the necessity for cyber security daunting.

Emma is also the CEO and founder of the UK Cyber Security Forum (UKCSF), a network of over 17 regional Clusters. Founded in Malvern with the Malvern Cyber Security Cluster in 2011, the Clusters now stretch from the Solent to Scotland. The UKCSF supports over 600 cyber security businesses, providing them with a respected and coordinated voice into Government and a platform to access notable domestic and international business opportunities with key Primes.

Her knowledge, influence and plain English approach has not gone unnoticed by the BBC who now regularly interview Emma for informed comment on topical cyber security news.

Dr Emma Philpott, MBE, will receive her Award at a formal ceremony later in the year.
