Herefordshire’s Big Economic Plan

Hereford County Council are establishing clear priorities and the actions needed now and over the next five years, showing how Herefordshire partners can work together, bringing different talents and perspectives to deliver for Herefordshire.

To date, the plan has been guided by a steering group of businesses and business groups, voluntary sector groups, Herefordshire Council, education representatives, local MPs and others. The vision and priorities have also been informed by interviews and workshops, involving over 100 different people from community groups, young people’s groups, businesses, arts organisations, investors, the NHS and elected councillors.

A slide pack is available online and is designed to enable as many people as possible to give their views and have a chance to comment. The pack contains suggested, more detailed priorities for each part of the economy:

  • People
  • Community and Partnerships
  • Enterprise
  • Infrastructure
  • Environment and Climate Change
  • Investment

Hereford County Council want to hear what you think about the contents of the Big Economic Plan.

  • Do you agree with the vision? If not, what would be different?
