Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber launches Business Manifesto 2026/27 at the Annual Economic Conference

The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has launched its Business Manifesto 2026/27 at the Chamber’s Annual Economic Conference, setting out the organisation’s priorities for the year ahead and highlighting the key issues facing businesses across the two counties.

Developed using insights from the Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Surveys and ongoing engagement with Members throughout 2025, the Manifesto reflects the experiences, challenges and ambitions of businesses across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The document outlines how the Chamber will champion the interests of local businesses, influence policy and provide practical support to help organisations grow in an increasingly complex economic environment.

Businesses continue to face a range of pressures, including rising operational costs, recruitment challenges, rapid technological change and shifting global markets. In response, the manifesto focuses on six priority areas identified by local businesses:

  • Business Costs
  • Profit and Revenue
  • People, Inclusivity and Diversity
  • Cyber Security and Technology
  • Sustainability
  • International Trade

Through these priorities, the Chamber will work closely with government, partners and the wider Chamber network to help create the right conditions for businesses to grow, innovate and succeed.

Alongside its policy work, the Chamber will continue supporting the region’s business community through its programme of training, events, networking opportunities and support services for more than 1,400 Member organisations across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The Business Manifesto 2026/27 is now available to download via the Chamber website.
