Across Worcestershire the number of cases of Coronavirus is dropping but in Redditch the number is still very high.

Worcestershire County Council are asking us to remind people that they need to continue to follow lockdown rules especially if they need to leave home to go to work.

The virus spreads when we mix. We need to keep following the rules to keep people safe when they are at work including their journey to and from work.

There are moments, such as when we are commuting or car sharing, when it is easy to forget.

Help us remind everyone how they can car share safely. The Government advice is on this page Coronavirus (COVID-19): safer travel guidance for passengers – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

  1. Everyone is working hard to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, please don’t let your guard down on the daily commute.

If you do need to share a car journey, please follow the guidelines: www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers
