Herefordshire Voluntary Organisations Support Services invite you to their Cyber-Security Seminar “Halt the Hackers’.
The event is for staff, volunteers, and trustees of community sector organisations including voluntary and community groups, registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations.
Being hacked is a very real problem for all of us involved in running a Community Sector organisation, be it large or small.
The seminar aims to:
– Identify the cyber attack a charity could fall victim to
– Help you take steps if the worst happens
– Offer practical advice on how you can minimise the risk of being attacked
Speakers include:
-James Squire, ROCU Cyber Protect Officer, West Mercia Police
-Paul Burgwin Chief Consultant, ITCONSEC, Secure Consultancy
-Teejay Nichols, NatWest Fraud & Security team
After the presentations the speakers will be around for an opportunity to network and ask any questions.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday 4 March 2020 from 1.30 – 4.30pm at Hereford Football Club, Edgar Street, Hereford HR4 9JU.
Entry cost is £10 per Community Sector Organisation which includes refreshments.
