Go wild with winter safari Snowdrop Ball

Guests are invited to put on their glad rags and support a Worcestershire Hospice for its glitzy, annual fundraising ball.

The St Richard’s Hospice Snowdrop Ball will be held at West Midland Safari Park, on Saturday, 27th November.

On the night, guests will be treated to a sparkling reception, three course meal, auction and raffle. The evening will feature wild winter-themed entertainment.

There will also be live music from Come Together followed by a DJ, for party-goers to dance the night away while raising money for St Richard’s.

Kelly Johns, hospice Fundraiser, said: “This event is the most glamorous in the hospice’s calendar and is always a great night out.

“We’re so excited to hold it again after the pandemic meant we weren’t all able to get together last year.”

“It’s the perfect excuse for guests to get dressed up and ready for the festive season – all while raising money to help us continue our hospice care.

“We hope to raise a fantastic amount for St Richard’s – every penny we raise will go to supporting the free care we provide to patients and their families.”

The previous glittering celebration saw 450 guests enjoy the festivities, raising more than £25,000 for the hospice’s free, specialist care.

This event is kindly sponsored by Knight Frank and Shrubbery Dental Practice.

Katie Griffiths, Business Development Manager at Shrubbery Dental, said: “This is a fabulous event and one Sally-Anne and Jessica the principles of the practice certainly weren’t going to miss out on, especially after the year we’ve all have had.

“This is Shrubbery’s third year sponsoring the Snowdrop Ball, it’s an event we are all very proud of and can’t wait for the big night.”

Shelley Stephenson, Associate at Knight Frank, said: “Knight Frank are proud to sponsor St Richard’s Hospice and the wonderful Snowdrop Ball, and are so happy the event is back after a year off due to the pandemic.

“Having been to the hospice and seen first-hand the incredible work they do, we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone and help raise money for such a fantastic cause.”

Tickets are £60 per person. Tables are available in rounds of 10 with a limited number of 12-seater tables on request.

St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. It also supports their loved ones.

Each year the hospice team supports more than 2,900 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

St Richard’s is an independent charity and relies on donations and gifts in Wills for the majority of its income with the remainder funded by the NHS.
