Entries to the Chamber Champions Awards are now open

Entries are now open to the brand-new Chamber Champions Awards Ceremony in partnership with DRPG, businesses can submit their entries online before the closing date of Friday 21 August 4.00pm.

The Chamber Champions Awards Ceremony in partnership with DRPG is a new virtual event that has been designed to celebrate the incredible support shown by the two counties’ businesses during the Covid-19 crisis.

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce a one-off live streamed event from DRPG Studios on the evening of Friday 4th September. Eight categories have been specially designed to recognise and celebrate the achievement of our local businesses and wider community.

Businesses can now enter as many categories as they wish, completely free of charge and winners will be announced on Friday 4 September at the fun packed evening, by host Richard Hurst.

 Categories include:

  • Business Contribution to Charity AwardSponsored by Worcestershire County Council
    This award looks to celebrate a business going above and beyond its normal activities to support the NHS or any other Charities during this crisis. This might be raising money or helping in other ways focussing on the dedication and commitment involved.

 

  • Individual Contribution to Charity Award – Sponsored by Sequani
    This award looks to celebrate an individual going above and beyond its normal activities to support the NHS or any other Charities during this crisis.

 

  • Accomplishments in Adaptability Award – Sponsored by British Business Bank
    The category will celebrate a business who has risen to the challenge by innovating and diversifying during these turbulent times and begun a fruitful new journey with an exciting direction and vision.

 

  • Kindness in the Community Award – Sponsored by Worcester Bosch
    This award will celebrate a business or individual who has made a momentous impact on their community during the Covid-19 crisis.

 

  • Compassionate Customer Care Award – Sponsored by EBC Group
    An award to recognise a business who has demonstrated a high level of service delivery and have provided vital support when their customers needed them most.

 

  • Valiant Volunteer Award – Sponsored by Blue Print Direct Mail
    Celebrating a business or individual for putting others before themselves and being generous with their time to support an individual or group.

 

  • Exceptional Employee Award – Sponsored by mfg Solicitors LLP

This award will celebrate an employee who has been a superstar over the past 6 months and has had a positive impact on your businesses and fellow colleagues.

  • Successful New Skill Award – Sponsored by Malvern Panalytical

Many of us have become regular users of online platforms, but this award is for someone in the organisation who has developed a completely new skill and used it to support the business.

Chamber Champion 2020 Award winners and runners-up will automatically be submitted to the British Chamber of Commerce for a 2020 UK Business Hero Stamp. A limited number of stamps will be issued to businesses across the county to pay tribute to them, recognising their contribution and demonstrations that they have gone the extra mile to support their local community during the Coronavirus outbreak.  A National promotion campaign will follow to showcase the UK Business Heroes And their stories by sharing a selection of case studies, across a range of business sectors, sizes and locations.

Entries to the awards are open now and all businesses regardless of size, sector, Member or Non-member are encouraged to get their submissions in for the Chamber Champions Awards, recognising their hard work and contributions to the community in the virtual ceremony held on Friday 4 September from the DRPG Studios.
