Employers Network Meeting – Worcester University

Did you know that 1 in 7 employees in the UK are also caring for someone outside of their job, and this number is set to dramatically rise in the next few years?

Working for Carers is a local initiative, led by the charity Worcestershire Association of Carers, enabling employers to support their staff that are balancing work and a caring role. The next Working for Carers employer network meeting will be on the Tuesday 5 November from 10am-12pm.

The University of Worcester will be very kindly hosting the meeting at the main St Johns Campus Worcester (WR2 6AJ). The Worcestershire Association of Carers will be within the conference centre not far from main reception, where the room number is CC008. There are also pay and display car parks on the campus for those interested in attending.

The event will welcome Laura Hewett, Director, Hewett Recruitment as guest speaker. Laura will be talking to the delegates about how employers can develop a flexible working strategy across their organisations to support and retain carers in the workplace.
