E-clinic focuses on supporting body and mind

Healthy habits and mindfulness to support the body and mind are the focus of the next free e-clinic from a Health Cash Plan and Mental Health Training Provider.

Paycare’s Wellbeing Manager Kerry B Mitchell has been hosting hour-long webinars on different topics every month – and has invited Gemma Allies, Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist, to share her expertise during the next one, starting at 10am on Monday 7th June.

Gemma, who pre-pandemic was supporting the Paycare team with their own health and wellbeing through regular massages, will be highlighting simple, practical tools which stressed-out employees can easily implement into their daily lives.

She said: “People need wellness and mental health support more than ever, especially in the workplace. As well as sharing tools, I want to dispel some of the myths around yoga and wellness and highlight that it is accessible and beneficial to everyone.

“I’ll begin with an interactive mini mind, breath and body workshop and then follow up with some tips on implementing yoga and mindfulness into your working life. Following the e-clinic, I am hoping attendees will feel engaged, uplifted and inspired to implement wellness into their workplace and personal lives.”

The e-clinic will also feature current research around healthy habits and mindfulness and information on food for mood, water intake and regular exercise, as well as a Zen in 10 presentation on how to transform from a stressed-out staff member to a mindful employee in just ten minutes.
