Destination Herefordshire – Managing and marketing the county’s tourism

Businesses across Herefordshire are being asked about their priorities and the best way forward for a well-funded and sustainable County tourism body for Herefordshire.

With the uncertainty surrounding the future delivery of Visit Herefordshire, the Herefordshire Sustainable Food and Tourism Partnership (HSFTP) have appointed The Mosaic Partnership to investigate the possibility of creating a Herefordshire Destination Business Improvement District (BID). This would be a new strategic and forward-thinking business led delivery body with the potential of generating over £500,000 pa to deliver the destination management of the whole County.

This is the very first stage in seeing whether a ‘Destination BID’ would be the right model to use in Herefordshire and the study would like to involve tourism businesses as early as possible in the process.

If you’re a business involved in providing accommodation, attractions, retail, food and drink, or use the Herefordshire brand to promote your activity, then you should be involved in helping us to reinvigorate the Visit Herefordshire brand and how we manage and market Herefordshire so that it truly fulfils its potential.

There is an on-line survey that businesses can complete.
