Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it has been presented with the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
Organisations that are recognised with the Bronze Award pledge to support the Armed Forces community and seek to take a positive stance towards Reservists who are either existing or perspective employees.
The Employer Recognition Scheme was launched in 2014 to commend employer support for the wider principles of the Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
The Chamber has been added to the list of businesses who have already been recognised for their support towards the Armed Forces community. We will now be working hard towards achieving the next level of the Employer Recognition Scheme over the coming year.
