Chamber Members go Blindfold to the Beacon

Jenny Gage, CEO of Sight Concern Worcestershire, your county charity which helps blind and partially sighted people to lead independent and fulfilling lives, is to walk the Malvern Peaks Challenge on Saturday 4 May, when she will guide Val Daniels, who has retinal pigmentosa, a condition in which the peripheral or central vision is lost and gradually worsens.

There are still places available, and a choice of three different routes:
• 17 legendary peaks – the “End to End” route is 15km of non-stop thrilling strides.
• 10 classic peaks – a family friendly 7km route.
• Blindfold to the Beacon – walk up the tarmacked path, blindfolded with a sighted guide.
Each distance encompasses the Beacon where participants can choose whether to complete this element blindfolded.

Please register at www.sightconcern.co.uk/malvernpeaks or ring 01905 332902 or email p.weir@sightconcern.co.uk. Entry cost £10 per adult, £5 per child and £25 per family. Cost includes a t-shirt and medal.
