Celebrate 40 years of hospice care at Grand Gala Dinner

St Richard’s Hospice will celebrate 40 years of care in Worcestershire at a Grand Gala Dinner on Thursday, 21 March.

Louise Hewett, High Sheriff of Worcester and patron of St Richard’s Hospice, is inviting guests to attend the Gala Dinner which will be hosted in the magnificent setting of The Nave at Worcester Cathedral.

This splendid event aims to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice and marks the end of Louise’s tenure as High Sheriff and celebrates St Richard’s 40th Anniversary year.

The evening will include reception drinks, a 3-course dinner, bar, raffle, auction, and entertainment. The event will have a ruby theme and promises to be an unforgettable experience, says Fundraising Director Tricia Cavell.

Tricia added, “We’re delighted to celebrate this milestone anniversary and look forward to a wonderful evening with Louise and guests. It’s thanks to our amazing community that St Richard’s has been here to offer care and support to thousands of patients, loved ones and carers over the last 40 years, and it is with their help that we will be here to meet the needs of our community in the coming decades.”

High Sheriff of Worcestershire, Louise Hewett DL, added, “This memorable event will be a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate 40 years of St Richard’s caring for so many people in our local community. Many of us will have friends and family who have benefited from their exceptional care.

“I am delighted to end my term as High Sheriff with this very special celebration, so close to my heart, and invite you to support and thoroughly enjoy this unique occasion.”
