Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in partnership with the Road Haulage Association is hosting an industry group to discuss the skills and recruitment challenges currently facing the industry.
The group discussion will cover everything from driver shortages to the industry’s journey to Net Zero and what support is available to assist.
The discussion will be held at Sixways Stadium in Worcester on 29 March at 11am. Places are FREE, but limited so haulage and logistics businesses are encouraged to confirm their spot sooner rather then later.
This industry group discussion follows on from the first industry meeting held by the Worcestershire LEP in January. The discussion in March will provide an update on progress made to support recruitment and highlight careers in the industry as well as a full round up of activity from the Road Haulage Association’s Area Manager, Simon Priest.
