Bank of England briefing – a chance to hear from England’s central bank on the support planned for businesses

October presents an exciting opportunity for businesses in Herefordshire and Worcestershire where Bank of England representative Graeme Chaplin will be speaking to Members of the Chamber and updating them on the UK economy and how the bank plans to support UK businesses.

It has never been more important for businesses to have a clear understanding of the policies that will be in place to help support the recovery of UK businesses. This annual breakfast briefing will present a great opportunity for Members to get a clear picture of how they will be supported over the coming months.

Business confidence will play a critical role in how businesses navigate the next few months, it is vital that companies feel confident in the future which will lead to more stability and the ability to plan further down the line. Business confidence has taken a huge hit over the past 18 months, with a combination of the pandemic and the UK’s exit from the EU, businesses have been left feeling unable to plan due to the uncertainty they face.

The Annual Breakfast Briefing will take place at the newly refurbished Shell Store at Skylon Park in Hereford and will provide attendees with a great opportunity to hear from England’s central bank.
