The Marches LEP and Careers & Enterprise Company are working with employers and local authority partners in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to launch The Marches Careers Hub. The Marches Careers Hub is a network of schools and colleges in the region working with partners to deliver the Gatsby Benchmarks, a framework of eight principles of good career guidance, created to improve career outcomes for young people.
Join them for a packed live stream launch of the Hub, featuring special guest former CBBC Blue Peter presenter and author, Radzi Chinyanganya.
During the launch event, you’ll:
- See a panel discussion in the studio bringing together employers and the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership
- Have a chance to put your questions to the panel and participate in a live poll as we discover what good careers education looks like and why it is important
- Watch interviews with people passionate about preparing young people for the world of work and find out how you can get involved
- Catch a live ‘scribe’ session with Hannah Williams of Scribble Inc, whose career choice was setting up a business after leaving education
- Hear from former CBBC Blue Peter presenter, Radzi, as he faces some questions about his own career from students across the region.
