BEIS are launching a virtual event for SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), focused on the Midlands area, which will take place on 10 February. The event is called “Your business journey to Net Zero” and will take place virtually using a digital platform from 10:00 AM-4:20 PM.
This Midlands focussed event will allow attendees to learn about practical solutions for SMEs wishing to embark on their own Net Zero journey and consider the business opportunities stemming from the transition to a low carbon economy. There will be multiple presentations and interaction with leaders on this subject from a local, regional and national perspective. I am delighted to confirm that the Minister for Business, Energy and Clean Growth Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP and the Government’s UK Net Zero Business Champion, Andrew Griffith MP, will be addressing the event.
In addition, there will be a virtual exhibition hall for delegates to find out about more products and services that will be of interest to them as they look to lower their carbon emissions. There are currently still exhibition spaces available so if you have any organisations that would like to exhibit, please ask them to contact [email protected].
For more detail about the event and content, please direct your networks to the following site, which also includes the registration details:-

Please note that due to the variety and breadth of the day’s content, all sessions will be recorded so that delegates will be able to access presentations that they were unable to attend live on the day. We look forward to your members and colleagues joining us on 10th February.
