Worcestershire Community Foundation asks for your support

We are all playing our part in addressing the impact of Covid-19 and key to this is the work of charities. They are facing huge increases in demand just as normal fundraising has to stop and staff and volunteers are self-isolating.

Yesterday Worcestershire Community Foundation released just under £20,000 to support things ranging from providing freezers to store donated food to buying children’s games for those stuck at home; from buying hand sanitiser in bulk for informal carers to getting the homeless somewhere to stay.

They are appealing to individuals, businesses and organisations across the county to give generously to this appeal which is linking with the National Emergencies Trust (NET) appeal. NET will be distributing funds through the Community Foundation network across the UK,  however the needs within our county are far greater than NET will be able to meet.

They are asking for the help of the community to raise money to assist those affected by isolation and deprivation during this emergency.
