Employers in the Malvern Hills and Wychavon districts of Worcestershire can benefit from free HR support provided by award-winning local consultancy, Cherington HR, as part of a new Government initiative.
The initiative was established after Malvern Hills and Wychavon District Councils were awarded over £283,000 from the UK government through the UK Community Renewal Fund to support a range of activities to boost skills and support people into work.
It aims to support local employers to develop age friendly working practices, and to enable businesses to recruit and retain older employees by adopting new management practices and policies.
As part of the programme, Cherington HR will run free workshops and provide one to one support for local businesses between March and June 2022, as well as offering advice and guidance on becoming a more age-friendly employer.
