Worcester City FC continues to build meaningful connections across the community by partnering with a wide range of local charities to help raise awareness, generate funds, and shine a light on the incredible work being done across Worcestershire and beyond.
Through its growing network of supporters, business sponsors including many of whom are Chamber of Commerce members, and volunteers, the club is using its platform to help charities reach new audiences and make a lasting impact.
Hayley Tally, General Manager at Worcester City FC, said:
“We’re passionate about supporting organisations that make a real difference in our community. Football has the power to bring people together, and by working with local charities, we can help amplify their message and support the fantastic work they do every day.”
Over recent months, Worcester City FC has supported several important causes:
- Man Up Gloucestershire – During pre-season, the club partnered with this men’s mental health charity to raise awareness, collect donations, and help expand its reach into Worcestershire.
- New Hope Worcester – As part of the club’s Youth Day, New Hope ran a tombola with donated toys, raising valuable funds to continue supporting children with disabilities and their families.
- Worcestershire Breast Haven – In recognition of Cancer Awareness Month, the club turned its matchday programme pink and players warmed up in pink shirts, alongside a successful bucket collection for the charity.
- Annual Poppy Appeal Support – Continuing a proud tradition, the club will once again honour our fallen servicemen and women at its fixture nearest to Armistice Day, with players and supporters paying tribute.
- The Colwall Youth Trust – The club is helping raise awareness of this charity’s work with children in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, as it seeks to connect with local businesses and potential donors.
Looking ahead, Worcester City FC already has partnerships lined up for 2026, including with Age UK North Worcestershire and St Paul’s Hostel, further underlining the club’s long-term commitment to supporting those who need it most.
“We see these partnerships as more than one-off events,” added Hayley. “They’re part of an ongoing effort to make Worcester City FC a genuine community hub — where football, people, and purpose come together.”
